Pham was born on March 18, 1988, in Las Vegas, to his parents Tawana and Anhtuan. His parents were from different cultures and communities. Tommy’s mother, Tawana Polk, was an American, and his father, Anhtuan, was the son of a Vietnamese mother and an Afro-American father.
