Loss Prevention

Loss Prevention

In this role, your main objective is to prevent theft and damage. You watch security cameras, the customers, and even the employees to see if there are any signs or suspicions of theft.

  • Being able to think clearly in stressful situations

To work in loss and prevention, you need to be a minimum of 16 years old; however, you need to have a high school diploma or GED education. Experience isn’t necessarily required for this position, but it is preferred.

District Manager – responsible for the stores in the region that they are assigned to. 

General Manager – responsible for the store or department they are employed in. 

Supervisor – “the team leader” of a group of staff. 

Merchandising
